AVA Biomedical, is a leader in providing electronic ambulatory infusion systems for swine. We utilize unique approaches to the problems associated with ambulatory infusion in larger species. We also have developed systems for ambulatory piglet infusion. Our systems address problems such as inadvertant disconnect, minimization of dead space, pump weight and accuracy.

SWINE TETHERED INFUSION SYSTEM
AVA Biomedical, has created tethered infusion/sampling systems that have been validated in the swine model. We have developed custom jackets that are optimized for our ports and infusion sets. We utilize the revolutionary Cath-In-Cath 2™ port systems for the most secure infusion set to port connection available.
We can also provide you with the TaperCath Xl™ for acute studies. In addition, we utilize state of the art “smart” infusion pumps with remote monitoring capabilities. We will individually assess your requirements and custom design an tethered infusion system to fit your needs.
